I am Mohamed Refaat, a software engineer who genuinely loves turning complex ideas into clear, usable products. Over the last 3+ years, I have worked across SaaS, fintech, and automotive cybersecurity domains, mostly with React and Next.js.

Today, I work as a Senior Frontend Engineer @VxLabs, where I lead development initiatives. I enjoy owning difficult problems end to end, from architecture and implementation to testing and long-term maintainability.

Lately, I have been expanding my knowledge into Backend too, learning while building and sharing what I learn.

Mentality

I treat software engineering as a craft. Clean architecture, thoughtful UX, and honest communication are not just nice to have for me, they are the baseline. I care a lot about writing maintainable code, mentoring teammates, and competing with my peers.

What keeps me motivated is simple: I love the work. I love learning, improving my tools, and building things that people actually use and value.

Outside coding

You will usually find me:
